Overview
The sc5010 SEK is a mobile operating chair for large joints (shoulder, elbow, knee) enabling outpatient procedures in orthopaedics and arthroscopy and suitable for certain dermatology and aesthetic plastic surgery interventions. It provides motorized adjustment of seat, back and head segments, six memory positions, an emergency shock position and AKRUS upholstery available in multiple colours and two thicknesses. Standard lifting columns (max. patient weight 200 kg) or heavy-duty lifting columns (max. patient weight 300 kg) are available. Backrest segments are removable to allow unrestricted access to the shoulder joint. Leg supports are adjustable horizontally or vertically or removable. A range of headrest systems and dedicated accessories extend clinical use. The sc5010 SEK is delivered fully assembled and uses components chosen for reliable long-term use when operated as intended.

Control and operation
The control unit includes an on/off switch, battery capacity indicator and buttons for motorized adjustment of seat, back and head segments. Six memory functions store repetitive settings. An emergency shock position is activated by a single button. Optional foot control panels are available for hands-free operation.

Upholstery and options
AKRUS upholstery offered in multiple colours and two thicknesses; electrically conductive upholstery available as an option for procedures requiring dissipation of static or electrical charge. Replacement batteries and different lifting column options can be selected to match clinical requirements.
