DiscoFlex™ Flexion Orthosis Intended use of the DiscoFlex Flexion Orthosis is to execute a consistent pressure relief at the lumbar motion segments to improve body posture. Important feature of the orthosis is the abdominal padding and straightened dorsal side, which flattens the lumbar lordosis according to the 3-point principle. Because a Hyper lordosis for most diseases is only pathogenically employed, the sole purpose is to prevent reclination. According to dynamic functional principles a slightly flexed posture allows all other movements making a rigid fixation unnecessary.
