Description

The Pediatric Membrane Oxygenator consists of an oxygenation chamber with a built-in heat exchanger, both composed of polymeric hollow fibers. Within the oxygenation chamber, the blood flows outside and the oxygen flows inside the fibers. In the heat exchanger, the blood flows inside and the water flows outside the fibers. Indications The Pediatric Membrane Oxygenator is indicated for adding oxygen, removing carbon dioxide, and heating/cooling the blood during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) procedures, for a maximum blood flow of 3 l/min and for periods of up to 6 hours, complying with the product's technical specifications.
