The compact 4EC Monitor is an all purpose easy to use survey meter. The quenched Halogen GM tube will detect activity below 10 keV though window. As radiation increases a red counting light flashes and an audible beep will sound. The meter will read in Sv or R units and will hold its full scale even when activity is 100 times the maximum. Unit weight 178 grams (6.3 oz) unit size 145 x 72 x 38mm (5.7" x 2.8" x 1.5"). The Monitor 4 EC will provide accurate reading for x and gamma rays above 40keV. Unit is designed to detect alpha, beta, gamma and X-rays within three selectable ranges.
