Description

Five years of research and development have enabled us to design and manufacture our own range of whole body cryotherapy cabins whose effectiveness is no longer to be proven. Our team of cold engineers realizes our technologies according to the results of scien- tific studies on cryotherapy and with the help of our scientific committee composed of a physiotherapist masseur. The skin contains a multitude of sensory receptors that al- low an individual’s body to be informed about the state of its environment and to react accordingly. It all starts during a cryotherapy session: the cold causes a thermal shock and a sudden drop in skin temperature. Each sensory receptor then produces a nervous influx which will be conveyed to the hypothalamus via the sensory nerves. Once the nerve impulse has been analyzed, the hypothal- amus will activate its endocrine functions, leading to the regulation of the pituitary gland. Closely linked to the hypo- thalamus, this gland also synthesizes hormones including endorphins, real molecules of well-being.
