The Vertefix™ Pedicle Screw System is designed to create rigid bone union between vertebral segments in the lumbar and lower thoracic vertebrae, using a pedicle screw frame construction. The system is premised on the widely accepted posterior approach, and includes an optional cross-linking mechanism for enhanced stability. The pedicle screw is available either with a fixed head design or a poly-axial swivel design.
