The gyro knife x series is an automatic respiratory tracking system which uses x-ray produced from the linear accelerator as the radial source. The gyro rotating focus creates a group of six different size targets. To fit the occident figure the treatment space expands to Φ700mm with focus on the higher dose rate and higher treatment efficiency. Since usage and periodical replacement of isotope cobalt-60 source is avoided, the approval procedures are greatly simplified in every country but with higher cost of adopting the accelerator and higher maintenance fee. The innovative and robust device is equipped with high-speed multi-row CT (4-row, 8-row, 16-row) and high-speed TPS system with reverse calculation.
