Built with an integrated F.O. bundle with no cavities to trap dirt or body fluids, thus allowing the blade to be easily cleaned and decontaminated. This contributes largely to the elimination of cross infection. FEATURES: 3.0mm diameter F.O. bundle with more than 5,000 individual fiber strands. No Chrome plating. The distal lip of the blade features a special atraumatic shape. High quality fibers ensuring excellent light transmission. 4,500 lux with 2.5V Xenon/Halogen lamp and 11,500 lux with 3.5 V Xenon/Halogen lamp. Maintenance free. Autoclavable up to 134°C approximately 4,000 times. No adverse affect in using ETO, Steam Autoclaving, or by soaking in Sporax or Cidex. Can sustain Plasma Sterilization.
