Description

The versatile Genova Plus spectrophotometer has all the features of a standard spectrophotometer plus features that are dedicated to life science analysis. Measure DNA concentrations and purity ratios using wavelengths recorded at 260, 280 and 230 nm, with an optional correction at 320 nm. Preprogrammed methods for measuring Bradford, Lowry, Biuret, and Bicinchoninic Acid (BCA) assays minimize errors. The OD measurement mode measures optical density at 600 nm for cell harvesting. The purity scan across the entire wavelength range from 198 to 1000 nm displays any distorted peaks enabling impurities to be easily identified. As a standard spectrophotometer, measurement modes include photometrics, concentration, multi-wavelength, spectrum scanning, quantitation, and kinetics. Dedicated to life science applications—preprogrammed for DNA, RNA and protein analysis KEY FEATURES DNA purity scan applies across the entire wavelength range Icon-driven software and easy-to-use navigation system provide intuitive usability Autologging capabilities enable repeat measurements of the same sample with a selected time interval Minimal footprint with large graphical display Save methods and results to USB memory stick 3 year warranty
