revision shoulder prosthesis / cementless
The SMR System offers complete intra-operative versatility to address both hemi and total anatomic prosthesis.
In the case of Anatomic prosthesis, an anatomic humeral body is connected to an SMR system stem. The anatomic humeral bodies are available in elective and trauma versions. The elective humeral body is finned to increase stability, while the trauma humeral body has 3 height options to facilitate height restoration and features passing holes for the suture wires. The connection between the humeral head and the humeral body is due to a double morse taper adaptor, which is available in two lengths, each one with 4 eccentricities. The adaptor can be rotated 360° in order to better fit with the anatomy.
In the case of a total prosthesis, on the glenoid side both cemented glenoids and uncemented Metal Back can be used. The cemented glenoids are available with a single peg or a 3-Peg solution. If a Metal Back is used, a polyethylene liner is coupled to the Metal Back to articulate against the humeral head.
