Cellacast Xtra is an excellent choice for indications that require high stability but a light cast, after fractures, operations or orthopedic corrections. The knitted fiberglass fabric with widthwise and diagonal stretch conforms well to all body contours and provides rigid stabilization. Excellent lamination creates a strong, durable cast with a smooth finish. Cellacast Xtra can also provide a smooth inside finish on a negative circumferential impression when creating a detailed mold of a residual limb or foot for the purpose of making an orthotic or prosthetic. Low tack resin allows for easy handling and molding using standard exam gloves.
