Safety Lock™ Eartip Adapters Prevents accidental injury to the ear canal from loose eartips coming off during your practice. Our patented SafetyLock eartip adapters lead the industry in user safety by creating a larger surface area on which the eartip sits. Most stethoscopes just have a 3mm gauge headset where the eartip sits. If the eartip comes off this can easily puncture your inner ear. The MDF® SafetyLock™ system rests on a 5mm gauge headset and provides ample surface area to prevent this.
