ChorionSet is a set containing two devices: a coaxial needle and a needle for villus sampling. The coaxial needle allows the villus sampling needle to reach the biopsy site through the abdominal wall. The two needles are perfectly coupled for optimal needle positioning and sample extraction. ​The sampling needle has an "UltraPoint" sharpened cannula specifically designed for maximum penetration capacity, keeping the fetus safe. Echogenic markers make the needle visible under ultrasound, allowing the user to easily locate the sample site. The coaxial introducer needle is provided with wings for a secure grip. ​ChorionSet is colored in accordance to international color codes for easy identification of gauge size.
