During the manufacturing process, the catheter is integrated with a sufficient length of extension line to span the distance from the patient to the urodynamics machine. This removes the need to purchase other extension lines. Moreover, the number of connection present in the fluid system is minimized. Every connection that is not necessary is a potential site for the formation of micro air bubbles that can affect pressure measurement accuracy. Every filling catheter in the collection comes with a diamond-shaped eye that improves release of the bladder pressure catheter upon introducing the catheter into the bladder through the piggy-back method. All of the Urodynamic catheters have winged luer connectors that aid connection to and fro the pump tubing as well as other accessories. For better convenience for the user, we also have Cystometry Sets that consist of bladder pressure and filling catheters or bladder filling, pressure, and rectal catheters in a single pack.
