The Endo-Maryland Dissector is a monopolar electrosurgical instrument that has flexible endoscopes and a working channel diameter minimum of 3.2 millimeters that can be used for dissection and haemostasis. The tip design of this tool was inspired by laparoscopic surgical instruments.

The dissector is made of branches for coagulation and the dissection of tissue, a reverse handle for the best ergonomic performance, a rotatable flexible shaft that allows for exact alignment of the tip, a curved grasper that is made for precise tissue targeting, and sharp teeth that allow for secure grasping.
