Description

As the big sister of the Sigma 1‑14, the Sigma 1‑16 microcentrifuge stands out with its space-saving design, high-quality finishing and excellent performance characteristics. The extensive range includes rotors for PCR strips, filter tubes and 2 ml or 5 ml microlitre tubes, and a rotor for centrifuging microhaematocrit capillary tubes. Its strong performance and range of rotors make the Sigma 1‑16 ideal for microbiological and protein biochemistry applications and clinical chemistry applications. What makes the Sigma 1‑16 microcentrifuge so attractive The Sigma 1‑16 features RCF values greater than 20,600 x g, short acceleration and braking times, a high-grade stainless steel bowl, and a motorised lid lock for effortless closing. Further highlights include the ability to store ten standard programs, a closable biosafe rotor with a capacity of 36 x 2 ml, and a rotor for 12 x 5 ml test tubes.
