Description

A disposable pulse lavage system with a built-in battery, for controlled pulsatile irrigation and suction. The pulse lavage kit contains the pulse lavage unit and battery pack and a 30mm fan tip with built in splash guard and a long femoral tip. This combination gives the flexibility for both hip and knee arthroplasty procedures, ensuring that the site can be optimally prepared for cement allowing implants to be strongly fixed in place. Pulse lavage can also be used to flush wound or operative sites with saline to improve visibility, identify a bleed or to remove debris. The handpiece includes a built in battery pack for flexibility and versatility. The battery is pre-fitted but is removed before disposal with a quick and easy twist to unlock. The single use nature of the product prevents cross-contamination between patients and the removable battery pack is disposed of separately to reduce the cost of clinical waste disposal. We offer a range of other tip styles and the tips are quick and easy to change and lock in place. The rocking trigger on the ergonomic handle offers two flow speeds for saline as well as an ‘off’ neutral position.
