Description

The progressive trapezoidal geometry enables optimal adaptation of the stem and both anti-translational and anti-rotational fixation that provides perfect primary stability while preventing the hip prosthesis from sinking. Specifications Standard Offset y High Offset. 12/14 taper. Hydroxyapatite spray coating (130 µm) that provides a porous surface with excellent biocompatibility and generates an ideal structure for bone growth. Stems available with and without collars (limits implant subsidence and migration). Triple wedge design: The trapezoidal shape in the sagittal and frontal planes offers enhanced primary stability and prevents prosthesis sinking. The size of the distal part is progressively reduced to decrease implant rigidity and improve contact with the cancellous bone (secondary stability). Metaphyseal semicircular macrostructures: increase the contact surface, preventing sinking and providing an antivarus effect. Longitudinal grooves: Increase bone–implant contact surface, preventing rotation, reducing distal rigidity with respect to the metaphyseal portion and improve diaphyseal vascularisation of the femur with the prosthetic.
