Overview
The Nordlys® platform is a multi-application IPL and laser system for treatment of pigmentation, vascularity, skin resurfacing, and hair removal. It integrates Selective Waveband Technology (SWT) IPL, two non-ablative fractional lasers (1550 nm and 1940 nm), and an Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser. Technologies

How it works
The system delivers selective light pulses absorbed by target chromophores: melanin for hair removal and hemoglobin for vascular lesions. Absorbed light converts to heat, destroying target structures (hair follicles, blood vessels) while sparing surrounding tissue due to wavelength selection and fractional treatment patterns.

Nordlys Applicators and Options

• SWT IPL applicators: narrowband IPL with water filtration to remove harmful wavelengths above 950 nm.
