How to choose this product
A Petri dish is a shallow vessel with a cover used for laboratory cultures.
These dishes are usually filled with a liquid or solid growth medium containing nutrients encouraging the development of cells, microorganisms or bacteria.
Most such vessels are round and are made of glass or plastic. Square versions facilitate counting the cultured organisms. Some make counting easier by incorporating a grid.
