Overview
The 3B Scientific® P90 BASIC childbirth simulator is designed for training normal deliveries, complicated births and obstetric emergencies. Obstetric simulation improves delivery training, protocol adherence and team responses in urgent situations.

Fetal position assessment and manipulation
Complications are less likely when abnormal fetal presentation or position is identified before labour. When the fetus is not in a normal head-first occiput-anterior presentation, appropriate measures and manual manoeuvres may be required to assist a complicated delivery. Clinical staff must also be trained to recognise indications for obstetric interventions such as caesarean section. With the 3B Scientific® P90 BASIC you can observe the effects of manual manoeuvres on the fetus in utero and practice the following delivery skills and techniques:

Materials and maintenance
The 3B Scientific® P90 BASIC childbirth simulator is made of soft vinyl (rigid internal structures) and silicone rubber. It is easy to clean and all parts are quickly replaceable without tools (connection pins).
