Lifelike simulator for practising the insertion technique for Colonoscopy.
Optional small intestines are available for training endoscopic interventions such as snare resection, clipping haemostasis, enteroscopy and shortening of the small intestines using single and double balloon endoscopes
Made of special silicone to give a very realistic feel
Laterally Spreading Tumour (LST) is reproduced in the ascending colon
The two included simulated polyps can be attached into the ascending and descending colon for observation
Practical training for balloon enteroscopy
By attaching either optional small intestine the level of difficulty of inserting an enterosocope and the shortening technique can be accomplished using double and single balloon endoscopes
The small intestine is 120 cm in length and contains an internal scale, with intervals of
30 cm, to enable the user to confirm the length of insertion
Training in the endoscopic treatment of polyps, such as snare resection and clipping haemostasis can be carried out by attaching these simulated polyps (for polypectomy)to the ascending and descending colon
Polyps can be resected and will bleed
Polyp shape: Yamada classification type IV
