The QuickGene Auto12S Nucleic Acid Extraction System is a compact, automated system designed to efficiently isolate DNA and RNA from multiple sample types. Like the QuickGene 240L system, its patented technology uses a unique porous membrane for high quality throughput yields. A full range of DNA extraction kits and RNA extraction kits is also available. The QuickGene Auto12S-IVD, when used in conjunction with the QuickGene AutoS DNA Extraction Blood Kit-IVD, is intended for use as an in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical device to extract DNA from whole blood. The isolated DNA is suitable for use in amplification-based IVD assays. The QuickGene Auto12S is an automated system for rapid Nucleic Acid Extraction and Purification of DNA and RNA from various sample types, including whole blood, tissue, cells, plants and viruses. This compact unit can process 12 samples, up to 200 μL, in a single run, making efficient use of laboratory bench space. With its ultra-thin polymer membrane, the QuickGene technology allows for effective capture of nucleic acids. This novel low-pressure design requires no centrifugation, delivering quality DNA with high-purity yields. QuickGene Nucleic Acid Extraction Systems are made in Japan.
