SURGISPON® DIAL is an absorbable gelatin sponge designed for post-renal dialysis patients to effectively control bleeding at the puncture site. Its highly porous structure can absorb fluids 40-50 times its weight, promoting rapid platelet aggregation and coagulation. The sponge activates thrombocytes upon contact with blood, aiding in fibrin formation. This process helps prevent the loss of natural clotting factors, offering a faster and more efficient hemostatic solution.
