Description

Overview
This microturbine features a patented motor cooling system that is fully isolated from the patient air stream, enabling safe, stable and long-term operation in medical environments. It is designed for demanding respiratory applications, including neonatal care, offering fast dynamic response and precise performance at very low flows.

Key features
  • Dynamic performance up to 150 BPM for neonatal respiratory applications
  • Patented compressor architecture with motor cooling independent from the patient air circuit
  • 100% O2 compatible and capable of continuous operation with oxygen
  • Safe operation at very low flows (capable of operating < 2 L/min)
  • Direct air–oxygen mixing within the turbine for a homogeneous gas blend
  • Bare turbine (no housing) for OEM integration

Performance highlights
  • Pressure capability: up to 64 hPa at 80 L/min (practical operating range)
  • Dynamic acceleration adequate to follow patient respiratory cycles up to 150 BPM
  • Designed for accurate performance at very low flow rates
  • High reliability and long service life (> 40,000 hours L10 in standard conditions)

Technical specifications
  • Intended application: Hospital care, emergency & transport, neonatal, home care
  • Acceleration*: < 86 ms (< 86 ms @ 10 A max — rise from 5 to 60 hPa @ 30 L/min)
  • Maximum static pressure (ΔP): 70 hPa
  • Unloaded maximum flow: > 340 L/min
  • Type: Bare turbine (no housing)
  • 100% O2 compatibility: Yes
  • Noise level*: < 61 dBa (< 61 dBa @ 30 hPa @ 1 m from air inlet)
  • Power consumption*: 11.3 W (11.3 W @ 30 hPa @ 30 L/min)
  • Motor cooling: Internal, independent from patient air circuit
  • Service life (L10)*: > 40,000 hours
  • Pressure range: < 90 hPa
  • Supply voltage: 24 VDC (nominal) | 28 VDC (max)
  • Capable of continuous operation with oxygen and direct air–oxygen mixing for homogeneous blend
  • Designed for 24/7 clinical operation

Options
  • Standard motor cable length 150 mm; customizable on request
  • Air inlet tube: optional (with or without)
