Description

AKRUS, since many years, is the leading supplier for patient beds in the market for refractive laser eye surgery. The LSC patient bed offers high quality technology and, with its superior features and functions, has established a “state of the art” reputation with many laser manufacturers and operators. Thanks to the high precision adjustments and movements on the Z, X and Y axis ther patient bed can be positioned exactly to the “focal point” of any laser. The head rest features an electric movement of 50 mm up-down and a manual tilt of -20° and + 15°. With the integrated safety systems and interlocks the use of the bed is possible in combination with both, an excimer laser and even under a femtosecond laser with a non-moveable laser head. As an option, the bed top rotates by 35° to the left and/or right, so the two laser types could be combined to one homogeneous suite. The analog joystick guarantees a high precision speed control. The speed control ranges from as slow as 0,2 mm/sec up to 12 mm/sec. Some of the leading laser manufacturers use the LSC in combination with their excimer or femto second lasers The electric Z, X and Y movements come as a standard with the LSC bed. The movements are controlled by an analog joystick. The joystick is either integrated in the head rest or in a separate joystick box on the left or right side of the bed. The electric head rest moves up-down by 50 mm. Electric movements The head rest moves up to 50 mm up- down, controlled by buttons integrated in the head rest body. Mechanical movements The head rest offers a mechanical tilt of -20° and +15°.
