bacterial identification system with antibiogram
The HB&L generates customized reports from user-friendly software that promotes continuous loading. The device can be used for Bacterial Culture, RAA and Susceptibility Testing. The most likely samples include: Urine, Sterile or non Sterile Fluids, Positive Hemoculture, other Biological Samples and Isolated Colonies. With the HB&L a light scattering technology is used as well as the results/reports produced are automatic. The quantitative results are expressed in FU/ml and the user can use customized antibiotic panels in the susceptibility testing. The results produced after sampling is complete are bacteria growth curve taking into consideration the real time factors. The sampling management is relatively easy and the device allows the user to establish customized analysis. 37°C incubation. There is a dedicated area for lyophilized bacteria reconstitution as well as a database for epidemiological studies. The LIS bidirectional interface is easy to use and device is compatible with Alfred 60.
