OverviewAmolab Suite (Lung Module) is an artificial intelligence software that identifies pneumonia and classifies severity by assigning scores to lung ultrasound regions. It provides quantitative indicators and an overall probability index estimating the likelihood that pneumonia is caused by SARS-CoV-2. The module integrates with SensUS Lung to support early diagnosis of COVID-19 interstitial pneumonia.
How it worksDuring the examination the device scans 14 lung regions. The algorithm assigns a score from 0 to 4 to each region to indicate degree of involvement and generates regional and global quantitative indicators, including an overall SARS-CoV-2 probability index.
Automated learning and validationThe system uses machine learning and is continuously trained on annotated data. Clinical validation shows its automated evaluations are substantially consistent with assessments by experienced physicians.
