Description

Easily programmable via OneLab, Heater-Shaker+ provides high-speed mixing action & temperature control for the most demanding applications. This uniquely designed compact device, which is suitable for a wide range of labware, combines both heating, from ambient to 99 °C, and vibration-free shaking action from 200 up to 2,500 rpm. Connected to OneLab by Wi-Fi/Ethernet for remote control and tracking Gentle mixing of samples by planar orbital motion using an ultra-efficient, 2-dimensional shaking axis so that mixing is completed in a fraction of the time of competing systems, and fully adjustable between 200 and 2,500 rpm, for both tubes and plates. Heating from ambient to 99°C is both rapid and homogenous thanks to a large-area heating source combined with a digital sensor. Temperatures are selectable from ambient temperature to 99°C in steps of 1.0°C. Designed for use with robots. An edge lock mechanism (ELM) ensures rapid, repeatable and accurate positioning of all types of microplates, ensuring that fast mixing processes with frequent plate changes can be performed safely. Locked & sensor-controlled zero-positioning ensures that in time adjustable stopping operations a defined zero position is automatically extended and locked with an accuracy of 0.1 mm, ensuring simpler loading and removal of labware and accurate pipetting.
