The Montreal Laminectomy Support is a positioning device used in spinal procedures – and any other surgeries requiring the prone position. The central hollow relieves pressure on the diaphragm ensuring that the patient can breathe easily. There is also a cut-out at the head end to ensure the anaesthetist has good access and can position the patient’s chin and neck comfortably when intubated.
