Working principleThe plasma surgical device uses a 100 kHz radio-frequency electric field to excite saline droplets around the electrode, forming a plasma thin layer approximately 100 μm thick. The plasma layer contains numerous charged particles that deliver sufficient energy to break molecular bonds in target tissue cells, rapidly decomposing tissue into low-molecular-weight molecules and atoms, enabling cutting and coagulation at relatively low temperatures and reducing thermal damage.
