Description

Product Overview
Crossover Nio is a Power Hybrid Mattress engineered for pressure injury prevention in acute and critical care settings. It blends a foam base with active air cells to support both powered and non-powered therapy without requiring mattress replacement. Designed to streamline clinical workflows by enabling bedside mode transitions and continuous, adaptive care.

Clinical Benefits & Efficiency
  • Seamless convertibility between non-powered and active therapy modes without moving the patient, reducing time and physical handling.
  • Optimized workflow that eliminates mattress swaps and decreases caregiver physical strain.
  • Continuous skin integrity through consistent pressure redistribution across the patient journey.

Key Features
  • Hybrid design combining foam comfort with dynamic pressure relief technology.
  • Therapy modes: Alternating Pressure (AP), Continuous Low Pressure (CLP), Max Firm, and non-powered modes for procedures and transport.
  • Auto-resumed Max Firm function to ensure continuous therapeutic integrity.
  • Independently replaceable, modular components for simplified maintenance and extended product life.

Advanced Heel Protection
  • PetalFlex™ Design: a heel-specific foam structure with precision-cut grooves and independently responsive foam segments to adapt to individual heel contours, increasing contact surface area and reducing peak pressure at the heel tip.
  • Sloped foam heel zone supports the lower calf to offload pressure from the calcaneus without additional positioning devices.
  • When combined with AP and CLP modes, the PetalFlex™ Design provides continuous heel pressure redistribution throughout different stages of patient care.

Operation & Clinical Use
  • Therapy modes can be switched at the bedside; one caregiver can complete mode transitions in under two minutes.
  • Non-powered mode: keep the quick connector cap closed while the patient is on the mattress to maintain internal air pressure; re-inflate the mattress approximately every 14 days with the patient off the mattress to maintain internal pressure.
  • Non-powered mode provides passive pressure redistribution through the foam base when pump support is not in use.

Maintenance & Storage
  • Store the mattress flat with the Quick Connector cap closed.
  • Do not fold, crease, or stack the mattress.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humid environments.
  • Modular design allows independent replacement of components for rapid upkeep and reduced operational costs.
