Description

Mobile shower unit with two 20-litre water tanks. Contactor lighting with active function (1 button = 1 function for ease of use and to avoid errors). Temperature can be set up to 40°C, with visual control via real-time temperature measurement. Fast heat-up time: from 20°C to 37°C in 8 minutes. Single-jet shower head in chrome-plated ABS, with locking trigger and water saver. Flexible 2 meters hose for easy handling and access to different areas of the resident’s or patient’s body. Soiled water is automatically sucked up by a pump and discharged into a second tank (20 litres). Soiled water is discharged via a tap to an external container or drainage system. The Evolution bed shower comes as standard with 2 suction hoses + 1 hose with hand shower. The Bed shower : benefits for patients and carers. 1 – Comfort and dignity Patients can be showered without leaving their environment, which reduces the stress and discomfort associated with travelling, while preserving their dignity. The care team no longer needs to transfer the patient and handling is limited, which prevents the onset of musculoskeletal disorders such as low back pain. 2 – Reduced risk of falls Patients who are bedridden or have reduced mobility are often at risk of falling when being moved around the bathroom. A shower in bed eliminates this risk. 3 – Personalised care Caregivers can adapt the procedure to the patient’s specific needs, offering more personalised attention. 4 – Pressure sore prevention Regular and adequate hygiene can help prevent pressure sores.
