The Arthraction Knotless AC repair system is designed for the reduction and stabilization of acute and chronic acromioclavicular joint separations. For arthroscopic procedures, the dual structure features a suture pre-assembled into the clavicle, which is then attached to the Dog Bone button after individual posts are antegradely inserted through 3 mm bone tunnels. For open procedures, the structure also features a suture pre-assembled into the clavicle, with a large pec button pre-loaded into the inserter. This allows surgeons to perform an open or mini-open “push-in” technique without requiring a search scope or access under the coracoid.
Preformed titanium Dog Bone button allows for buttonless technology or the use of multiple sutures for acromioclavicular AC joint reduction. The button is attached to the sutures; only the suture material is passed through the clavicle and coracoid tunnels, allowing the repair to be completed through smaller tunnels.
The low-profile AC implant and Dog Bone button combine to form a distensible device optimized for reduction and stabilization of acute and chronic AC joint separations. This dual construct includes two independent sutures pre-assembled into a clavicle and a Dog Bone button. The button is passed antegrade through 3 mm bone tunnels after passing individual suture loops.
