Description

Overview
Polaris HP M is a medical therapeutic laser designed for deep intratissue treatment of pathological and aesthetic conditions. The integrated laser source delivers continuous, pulsed and superpulse emission modes with a maximum output of 8 W, enabling controlled thermal and biostimulatory effects.

Key features and technology
The device uses a single high-power wavelength to produce a localized thermal effect distinct from low-level laser therapy. The patented DILA (Deep Intratissue Laser Adapter) focusing adapter compensates for surface power losses and reduces thermal load on epidermal and subcutaneous layers, permitting precise placement of energy in deeper tissues.

Benefits for the patient
  • Applicable across dermatology, orthopaedics, general medicine, neurology, dentistry, aesthetic medicine, oncology and ENT.
  • Non-invasive analgesic therapy for acute and chronic pain; can be an alternative to some surgical interventions for bone, soft tissue, tendon and nerve inflammations and joint degeneration.
  • Aesthetic indications: reduction of fibrous cellulite, improvement of tissue firmness and texture, removal of hyperpigmentation, telangiectasia, erythema, tattoos and permanent makeup, and non-surgical lifting procedures.
  • Biostimulation effects: enhanced microcirculation and angiogenesis, increased DNA and collagen synthesis, stimulated fibroblast activity, promoted wound and ulcer healing, anti-edema and anti-inflammatory effects.
  • Option for intensive therapy with high energy doses (up to 50 J/cm2) to shorten treatment duration.

Benefits for the therapist
  • Automatic device efficiency checks and automatic laser power test support compliance and safety.
  • Flexible configuration: supports high-power laser therapy and low-level biostimulation using ASTAR low-power applicators (point probes, scanning applicator, cluster applicator).
  • Quick replacement of adapters on the HP probe; suitable for physiotherapy and medical centres.
  • Intuitive operation via 7" colour touch display with 227 built‑in programs and an included treatment encyclopaedia; create and save up to 250 user programs and multi-program sequences; manual mode allows entry of power, frequency and duty factor.
  • Illuminated control knob for parameter adjustments; treatment statistics and favourites management available.

Accessories and applicators
  • Compatible with scanning laser applicator, cluster laser applicator and point probes.
  • Optical fibre applicators available for laserpuncture and ENT applications.
  • Three application adapters supplied: 1 cm², 5 cm² and DILA focusing adapter.

Channels, operation modes and safety
The built-in laser source supports continuous, pulsed and superpulse emission. The system permits regulation of output power and duty factor, automatic repetition of treatment procedures, automatic laser output test and automatic calculation of treatment time based on dose, power, duty factor and treatment area. A pilot beam indicates the application site.

Preset and user programs
  • Extensive preset database and preset sequences for various applicators.
  • Create user programs and sequences for both biostimulation and high-power laser therapy; supports saving and editing of program names and favourites; treatment statistics available.
