Microporous PVA NON ADHESIVE: the microporous structure electively absorbs plasma and secretion whereas the clot will tend not to adhere. STIP is an open cell polyvynilic foam, a synthetic product which does not lose any thread which might cause infections and granulomas. STIP does not deform the nasal cavity: as the swab soaks, it shapes following the anatomy of the nasal cavity, so that pressure is distributed gradually over the various areas of the mucosa. STIP is an efficient hemostatic and, at the same time, it offers soft support to the nasal structures during the postoperative period. Available with or without ventilation tube (cannula) and with or without thread.
