Axiostat Emergency Haemostatic Dressing can control moderate to severe bleeding resulting from traumatic injuries like accidents. Axiostat, based on Protonated Bioadhesive Technology (PBT®), stop bleeding dressing which provides an active mechanical barrier to the bleeding site. Axiostat®, accelerates blood clotting and reduces loss of blood. Features: Stops moderate to Severe Bleeding Instantly Can be cut, folded and stuffed into deep wounds For Large surface wounds, Blast injuries, Stab wounds Ease of Application & Painless Removal Controls bleeding due to: Gunshot wounds Scalp and Limb Cuts Blast injuries Puncture and Stab wounds How to Use: Tear open Axiostat pack and Apply Axiostat with pressure until dressing sticks to the wound. Once applied, do not lift or remove Axiostat, not even to check hemostasis. Apply field dressing to secure Axiostat in position. To remove Axiostat, irrigate with saline/water and gently peel it off. To treat gunshot wounds, axiostat may be used.
