Description

Dynamic Hip Abduction Orthosis for children by dr. J. Visser Intended use is to support maturing of the hip with hip dysplasia and used after re-posited hip dislocation with infants. The orthosis fixes the hip joint in a 90° flexion and 60° abduction position. Product function Limiting range of motion The thigh bones are positioned in a way to secure the femoral head into the acetabulum to prevent unwanted movements and thereby hip (Sub) Luxation
