The multifunctional orthosis provides relief for the medial compartment of the knee. This is intended for use treating knee arthrosis, which is medical osteoarthritis of the knee, or after the inner meniscus has been injured. The device, the SofTec OA multifunctional othosis, is able to make the knee stable. It takes pressure away from the area of the knee that is normally affected, but it still allows the muscle to be used.
This device has a flexible kit and strap system which utilizes contoured shells which feature an anatomically accurate design. It also boasts an air bladder system which can empty or fill depending on the requirement and pressure pads. The device uses a three point principle to reduce pain. It is adjustable in a variety of ways to ensure maximum comfort for the wearer. It features zippers to make these adjustments possible.
