Characteristics

  • Applications:

    dialysis

  • Fluid:

    blood

  • Material:

    polyethersulfone

  • Other characteristics:

    hollow-fiber

Description

• The DIACLEAR Ultrafilter is indicated for purification of dialysis fluid
to obtain microbiologically high quality dialysis fluid. The risk of
exposure to bacteria and endotoxins can thereby be minimized1
• Fluid pathways are sterile and non-pyrogenic
• Intended for use with the PHOENIX X36 Dialysis Machine
Automatic monitoring of pressure drop across the DIACLEAR
Ultrafilter and an acoustic and visual signal is triggered if the pressure
drop exceeds 200 mmHG, which indicates the DIACLEAR Ultrafilter
must be replaced
Performances:
Mean pressure drop between fluid inlet and filtrate outlet during filtration of dialysis fluid at 37° C (98.6° F)1
Total viable bacteria count: less than 20 CFU/L
Typical filtration rate: 500-mL/h mmHg
Filter volume: 223 mL
Compatible with
the following
disinfection
and descaling
methods:*
Heat disinfection
Sodium Hypochlorite (36° Chl. or 152 g/L)
Acetic Acid (33%)
Peracetic Acid (0.35%)
Formaldehyde (37-40%)
Heat Citric Acid disinfection (50%)
Guaranteed filter
performance:
50 treatments (chemical disinfection) or 100
treatments (heat citric acid disinfection
