EPN vs H8
EPN uses ultra-thin 33G (≈0.18 mm) solid needles that create smaller micro-incisions for faster recovery and reduced trauma. H8 is a hollow-style design with a thicker effective wall (~0.25 mm) and may require topical anesthesia for comfortable use. EPN additionally delivers micro-electroporation to increase permeation of applied serums.

How it works and benefits
Microneedling creates micro-channels that trigger collagen and elastin synthesis; electroporation temporarily increases cell membrane permeability to improve delivery of high-molecular-weight actives. Combined, these effects support skin texture improvement, scar remodeling and enhanced product penetration.

Pain and tolerability
Minor discomfort or tingling may occur during treatment. A topical numbing cream can be applied prior to use if desired. Temporary pinpoint bleeding and transient erythema are possible depending on depth and settings; these reactions typically resolve quickly.
