Description

Overview
The LAB 500 Series of compact under-bench glassware washers offers optimal cleaning performance for small and medium-sized laboratories where space is at a premium. LAB 500 next-generation laboratory washers share the washing technology of higher-throughput devices, providing flexibility, excellent cleaning and drying efficacy. Models are capable of injection washing and drying on up to two independent levels. An electronic temperature control system with two independent probes guarantees permanence at 93°C / 199°F ensuring cycle efficiency in terms of performance and duration. The HEPA-H14-filtered forced-air drying system (available on some models) helps achieve complete drying of glassware exterior and interior. Ergonomic telescopic bearing rails enable easy and safe loading and unloading of glassware.

Stands and side cabinets
Different models of 300 mm wide side cabinets allow holding:
  • Boiler for DI water preheating (cabinet and washer-disinfector can be manufactured as a single 900 mm wide unit)
  • Purification system for DI water supply
  • Up to four 5-liter (1.32 Gal US) chemical containers
Stands improve ergonomics when the machine is not installed under the counter. The 600 mm (23.62”) height stands are equipped with doors for easy storage access to chemicals and accessories. A stand is recommended when the machine is equipped with the optional boiler to pre-heat DI water and the needed booster pump.

Wide range of racks, inserts, trays and components
A comprehensive choice of racks and components meets different capacity and cleaning demands, allowing to maximize the number of different utensils and glassware that can be washed, preventing movement and damage, and ensuring complete coverage of the loads.

Easy loading / unloading
The door acts as a loading platform for lower and dual injection wash carts. The upper level has fully extendable telescopic bearing rails allowing easy and safe loading/unloading of the glassware. As standard, the unit is equipped with two rotary spray arms, one at the bottom and one at the top of the chamber. Upper-level racks are also available with a rotating washing arm for washing general-purpose items.

  • Hygienic design: Washing chamber, spray arms and tank filters made of AISI 316L stainless steel (DIN 1.4404). Rounded edges to prevent dirt traps. 3-level water filtering system captures residue, preventing re-circulation and extending pump life.
  • Optimal cleaning: Powerful washing pump with high flow rate combined with effective spray pressure to optimize water flow and pressure.
  • Excellent drying: Built-in HEPA-H14-filtered forced-air drying system ensures complete internal and external drying. Adjustable time and temperature settings optimize cycle duration and energy consumption.
  • Chemical dosing: Two standard peristaltic pumps for precise addition of liquid chemical agents. An additional dosing pump is available as an option.
  • Steam condenser: Integrated steam condenser prevents vapors from entering the washing area at a set temperature programmable from 0°C to 93°C (32°F – 200°F).
  • Traceability: RS232 port for printer connection to monitor and validate washing cycles. USB port for historical cycle data and machine parameters available on LAB 500 SCL / CL / DRS models.
