OverviewThe AC 7500 cage and rack washer is a high-capacity hydro-spray washer with electric or steam heating, developed for biomedical research facilities, vivariums and laboratories. It delivers complete chamber and load coverage via multiple oscillating spray arms while remaining suitable for installations with limited space thanks to frontal service access and compact footprint.
Hydraulic and wash configurationFlexible hydraulic layouts: single process circuit with recirculated wash/rinse or fully separated wash and rinse circuits. Standard supply includes two chemical dosing units and flow meters; additional dosing units and side-mounted heated wash tanks are available to optimize cycle development. Multiple oscillating spray arms ensure fast, effective washing.
Control and monitoringIndustrial PLC with multi-language touch-screen HMI, auto-diagnostics and USB port. Continuous display of cycle phase, time, temperature, chemical dosing, water usage, utilities consumption and drying status. Tele-service and tablet connectivity ready. USB port permits historical cycle data download and software updates; optional built-in thermal printer or traceability software for full cycle reporting.
Pit and installation advantagesDesigned for installation with minimal pit depth: standard 100 mm (option 150 mm). Custom chamber sizes available to fit existing pits and permit direct floor loading of large or heavy items. Where pit installation is not possible the unit can be floor mounted with a loading ramp.
Hygienic designInner chamber and doors in AISI 316L combined with an AISI 304 external body for corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. AISI 316L spray nozzles are mounted on horizontally oscillating pipes on both sides of the chamber. Loading floor is sectional and removable for cleaning; adjustable rail guides match client carts and racks.
Innovative water filteringThree-level filtration: two pre-filter stages in the sump and a final inline self-cleaning filter within the recirculation circuit. The system captures residues during recirculation and protects the recirculation pump; filters are removable for cleaning and maintenance.
Decontamination optionsAir-tight construction enables decontamination of heat-sensitive loads using vapor-phase Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) or Chlorine Dioxide. A vapor H2O2 generator can be onboard mounted and fully integrated or the washer can be connected to an external generator for decontamination cycles.
Options for NHP and heavy-duty applicationsNHP option supports large animal cages and racks: additional vertical oscillating pipes on one side, widened door, protected inspection window, higher-capacity wash pump and second wash tank for increased cycle flexibility.
