The automatic processor VFTP300 is a vacuum underfloor processor designed for histopathological work routine. To make easier the use and the maintenance, the instrument is distinguished by a high standard construction. During the process all steps and actions are displayed on the display: the current phase, the current actions (load, unload, etc.), the process chamber temperature and hot paraffin chamber, the process chamber pressure, the date and the time of ending process and other information designed to make the use of the instrument easier. The working capacity of 300 samples per cycle ensures a high daily productivity, while still providing a high quality of the final product. The instrument has two sample racks with 150 stainless steel places with dividers and lid. The tissue processor is provided with: Reagent tanks: 10 reagent tanks of 2,7L volume Tanks for cleaning: 2 tanks with cleaning reagents of 2,7L volume Paraffin tanks: 4 paraffin tanks (2,7L capacity each) Baskets: 2 stainless steel baskets (150 cassettes capacity each) The software can manage up to 18 different protocols with rapid start for the most commonly used ones. In addition programs for cleaning and reverse cycle are also available. Delayed start and setting of end-process time can be set. For the melting station the temperature is settable and paraffins with melting points of 52-54°C up to 56-58°C can be used. All process parametres are shown on a solvent resistant colour touch screen. The automatic tissue processor is also provided with an active-charcoal filter tank for vapour neutralization.
