The new automatic stainer AUS240, characterized by the use of the most recent technologies, is able to guarantee:  Ease of use  Brilliant staining  Reproducible results The instrument is able to create different types of colors:  Hystology (Hematoxylin-Eosin)  Cytology (Papanicolaou)  Special colors (Giemsa, PAS, Alcian Blu, Alcian PAS, Mucicarminio, Perls, Masson Tricromica, Ziehl Neelsen) The instrument guarantees the continuous loading of 30 slides baskets; the daily productivity dipends on the staining protocols. 10 baskets can be stained contemporaneously, using the same protocol. The software guarantees the protocols set by the operator, using the most rapid way. The stainer contains 40 dishes (485ml each), of different types:  Reagents: 28 stations, with high resistence to corrosion, placed on racks with 7 positions, easy to remove, for substitution and cleaning.  Washing: 5 stations with regolulation of pression and water flow in and out.  Drying: 2 ovens that can produce forced ventilation with 60°C air.  Loading: 2 stations, with possibility of loading new baskets when the instrument is closed  Downloading: 3 stations, with the possibility of removing the stained baskets when the instrument is closed. The agitation of the reagent dishes is particular and innovative, it is completely independent from the automatic arm. This particular agitation system (called “WAVING”) allows to obtain omogeneity of the staining solutioninside the dish, improving the quality of section staining and, last but not least, it reduces the amount of precipitate produced during daily routine.
