Embedding cassette Super mega

Technical features Histological cassettes for the embedding of macro-sections, with a double closure system to guarantee a perfect lock-up during the processing passage. Internal dimension: 62 x 48 x 14 mm, external dimension 73 x 53 x 16 mm. The sample’s identification is possible thanks to the wizen surface on three cassette’s side. These surfaces are fitted to the writing with pencil. For a permanent marking, we suggest to use permanent marking pen Securline marker II BioOptica (code 11-51) or Histology pen (code 11-50). These cassettes are compatibles with Bio-Optica filing system (Diateca for macro-sections and big archives). NEW: beside traditional cassettes for macro sections, Bio-Optica Super Mega cassettes have somebigger holes. In this way, the paraffin hold on better to the cassette, during the embedding, avoiding block’s break during the microtome cutting. Functional features Material: acetalic polymer (polyoximethylene polyacetal). The acetalic polymer is stable to the high temperatures, to microwave operations, to solvents, to acids and alkalis; then this material is optimal for the processing and the embedding passages in the histological process. The dispensers, used for packaging, are realized in cardboard with a frontal opening to ease the cassettes extraction. For all these characteristics, particular storage precautions are not necessary for this kind of material. Validity date: not applicable.
