Product overview
TULA® and TULA® Slim are medical laser fibers intended for transurethral laser ablation of bladder tumors. Designed for use with flexible cystoscopes, TULA® supports ambulatory treatment often performed under local anesthesia or without anesthesia. The atraumatic tip facilitates smooth insertion and protects the endoscope working channel. The hexagonal fiber core promotes more homogeneous energy delivery and consistent tissue effect.

Clinical benefits and indications
  • Enable treatment of bladder tumors via flexible cystoscopy in outpatient settings, frequently with local or no anesthesia.
  • TULA® Slim increases scope deflection and maneuverability for bladder neck procedures using the J maneuver, particularly when a median lobe limits deflection.
  • Suitable for accessing difficult-to-reach lesions in the lower pole of the upper urinary tract (UUT), such as transitional cell carcinoma (TCC), when used with flexible ureterorenoscopes.

Design features
  • Atraumatic fiber tip for smooth insertion and protection of the endoscope working channel.
  • Hexagonal core geometry for improved homogeneity of energy delivery across the beam profile.
  • Slim fiber variant to enhance scope maneuverability in constrained anatomies.
