Description

Brilliant Green Agar is a highly selective medium for the isolation of Salmonella other than S. typhi from feces and other materials. Brilliant Green Agar with addition of Novobiocin confers an additional measure of selectivity by inhibiting contaminant organisms commonly seen on agar media when isolating Salmonella.
