PetriSphere® Anaerobic Gas System
The PetriSphere® Anaerobic Gas System is a microprocessor-controlled system for creating controlled anaerobic or low-oxygen conditions in anaerobic jars. A diaphragm pump, gas connection, and flushing system automatically replace the air inside the connected jar with the desired gas mixture.

The system eliminates the need for chemical gas-generating bags, reducing operating costs while providing fast and reproducible oxygen depletion.

Fast and efficient oxygen depletion
The PetriSphere® achieves very rapid oxygen depletion, requiring approximately 2 minutes per jar. The automatic process is initiated with the start key and performs the programmed evacuation and gassing cycles without further intervention.

The standard setting includes three automatic gassing cycles. Vacuum, gassing pressure, and the number of cycles can be adjusted via the supplied software to meet individual application requirements.

Flexible oxygen levels
The system allows the oxygen level inside the anaerobic jar to be adapted to the specific application by selecting the appropriate gas mixture and adjusting the process parameters.

Quick connectors allow the system to be connected to and disconnected from the pressurized gas supply in just a few steps.

High capacity
Depending on the jar used, the PetriSphere® can accommodate up to 11 Petri dishes per jar, making it suitable for efficient processing of larger sample batches.

Easy and economical operation
The PetriSphere® is supplied fully assembled and ready for operation. The flushing gas and pressure regulator are not included in the scope of delivery.
