Description

Overview
The first and only 16-contact percutaneous lead spanning three vertebral levels with tight contact spacing. The Infinion™ Pro leads are engineered for multi-target coverage, precise steering and sustained performance required in advanced spinal cord stimulation therapy.

Key features
  • 16 contacts spanning ~67 mm across three vertebral levels for broad coverage of multiple pain targets
  • Tight contact spacing (1 mm) to enable fine targeting and reduce loss of therapy with lead migration or evolving pain patterns
  • Coiled lead body optimized for improved steerability and handling during percutaneous placement
  • Available lead lengths 50 cm and 70 cm; lead diameter 1.3 mm

Clinical performance and therapy options
  • Supports advanced stimulation paradigms including FAST™ AutoDose for rapid-onset, paresthesia-free relief
  • MRI conditionality available under specified conditions for certain system configurations

Compatibility
Infinion™ Pro Leads are compatible with the Spectra WaveWriter™ SCS System, Precision Montage™ and Precision Montage™ MRI SCS Systems, and the WaveWriter Alpha™ SCS System. MRI compatibility of Infinion™ Pro Leads depends on the system configuration and specified conditions.

Indications
The Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulator Systems used with Infinion™ Pro Leads are indicated as an aid in the management of chronic intractable pain of the trunk and/or limbs, including unilateral or bilateral pain associated with: failed back surgery syndrome; Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) Types I and II; Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) of the lower extremities (with paresthesia-based therapies only); intractable low back and leg pain; radicular pain syndromes; radiculopathies due to failed back syndrome or herniated disc; epidural fibrosis; degenerative disc disease; arachnoiditis; and multiple prior back surgeries. WaveWriter Alpha systems are also indicated for certain chronic intractable low back and leg pain without prior back surgery.

Contraindications / Warnings / Precautions
  • Contraindications: patients unable to operate the SCS system, patients with failed trial stimulation (no effective pain relief), poor surgical candidates, and pregnant patients
  • Warning: Effectiveness in the DPN population has been evaluated only for paresthesia-based stimulation modes
  • Caution: U.S. Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician
